Dr. Deniz Basci is the founder of Dallas Premier Plastic Surgery. Originally from the Washington, DC area, Dr. Basci received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, as well as dual minor studies in Psychology and Musical Theater at Duke University.

       Following her undergraduate education, Dr. Basci returned to her native Washington, DC to attend the prestigious George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences where she earned her Medical Doctorate and graduated with the highest honors. While there, she was elected to the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, based on her academic achievements, and was awarded the Gill Research Fellowship for Global Health studies.

       During her postgraduate studies, Dr. Basci discovered her passion and talent for facial aesthetics, anatomy, and ultimately plastic surgery. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW), a highly competitive integrated plastic surgery program ranked #1 in the country by Doximity Residency Navigator, several years in a row.

       Over the course of her six-year residency training, Dr. Basci developed her craft and learned state-of-the-art techniques in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on women’s health (breast cancer reconstruction, vaginal rejuvenation), rhinoplasty, facial aesthetics, and body contouring. During her tenure, she was appointed to serve as the Administrative Chief Resident of her program, an honor bestowed on one resident per year, to lead 30 residents.

       Dr. Basci’s passion for aesthetic surgery led her to complete an additional year of specialization at the highly competitive Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern. During this time, she honed her skill in cosmetic surgery techniques for the face, nose, breast, and body. Additionally, Dr. Basci focused on laser technology, learning how to optimize and integrate proven advancements in technology for her patients.

       Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Basci has been recognized in plastic surgery with numerous publications and achievements to her name. She literally helped write the book chapter on laser resurfacing in a medical textbook and has continued to author academic articles for the field. Outside of the office, Dr. Basci is a public speaker and has been featured on panels. She has also presented her clinical research at the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the Texas Society of Plastic Surgery (TSPS), and the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgery (NESPS).

Dr. Basci continues to serve the medical community by teaching safety and technique courses for injectables to other physicians and healthcare providers. Her commitment to teaching the next generation of medical professionals shines through her mentorship of plastic surgery medical students preparing for a residency at her alma mater, UTSW. She has also served as a reviewer for the national publication the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and on the wellness committee for the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), to contribute to progress and innovation in the field.

Combining technical skills with her passion for aesthetics, Dr. Basci founded Dallas Premier Plastic Surgery to create a first-class practice based on outstanding cosmetic outcomes, discretion, and empathy. As a woman-owned business, the practice is uniquely positioned to understand patients’ goals and help them realize their dreams in a safe and supportive setting. At Dallas Premiere Plastic Surgery, patients are the priority, and Dr. Basci ensures that their safety and satisfaction are paramount.

When not in the office, Dr. Basci can be found traveling around the world, cheering on the Cowboys during football season, indulging in a show at the Dallas Symphony, or walking her beloved miniature Bichon Frise along the Katy Trail.
